On their return to Wrexham, Phil and Jim decided that they should have one for their community. R&R Engineering of Wrexham were approached and offered to donate one.

Cheryl Thomas, managing director of R&R said it was their privilege to have carried out something so worthwhile.

With a trailer in tow group members called at the company on the Wrexham Industrial Estate to bring ‘Frank’, as they have named the silhouette, back to Broughton.

A small Remembrance area is being cleared for him near to the Memorial Hall, Brynteg.

His next appearance will be at The Remembrance Service in The Memorial Hall on November 11. The group have their normal meeting on Monday, November 12 at 10am in the Memorial Hall and all are welcome.
