This office staircase was manufactured with RHS Stringers, Pan treads for concrete infill and has a glass panel balustrade with a polished stainless steel capping handrail. The Architect didn’t want a landing support structure beneath the stair and wanted to give the impression that the stair was “floating”. This was achieved by supporting the back landing via 2 No large stainless steel tensioned rods from the main structural steelwork within the floor above.
