Client: Canals & Rivers Trust

A project carried out at the Ellesmere Port Boat Museum for Canals & Rivers Trust. This is the last vessel of its type that was used to ferry coal and the likes across the Mersey. We were required to design and manufacture a new means of support frame/ cover to preserve the vessel for future generations. There was a great deal of planning required as the vessel had to be transferred from its original support into the new with minimal disturbance to what is a very fragile and temperamental piece of history.
